Born in 1945 in the rural town of Gisborne, New Zealand, Ivan was educated initially at Ngatapa School. He was immediately smitten by the power of the written word, embracing it to write poetry almost as soon as he could pen words competently. From such beginnings he become a prolific reader and enthusiastic, if somewhat erratic, writer. So it is April 2nd and i found out what i did wrong...i am supposed to find what influenced him to write poetry...then i have to find a quote on him so i can do the cover of my project!!! Otherwise its cool in my house....lol

So it is march 31st and i am still writing a paper on ivan...i found out that i had been doing the project all wrong so i had to redo it.
